There is now just one month until the end of scheduled 0-series Kodama services on the San’yo Shinkansen. Intermediate (for which, read ‘minor’) stations on the line, such as Higashi-Hiroshima, are good places to see the trains, because there are fewer photographers than at major stations, and because the Kodama services often make quite lengthy [...]

The Tokaido Shinkansen (between Shin-Osaka and Kyoto) runs adjacent to the Hankyu Line for a stretch beginning at Oyamazaki Station. The Osaka end of the station is a good place to photograph Shinkansen.
